Jordan 2006http://www.demotapes.co.uk/1999 Connect FM/KCBC - NorthamptonshireI initially joined Sales, (exceeding all targets) & was then appointed Programme Controller & News Editor. (Plus news and programme training projects for The Local Radio Company. Writing and designing internet web-sites, and learning rather poor French. 1997 Isle of Wight Radio - Head of News/Breakfast Show Presenter I rejoined Isle of Wight Radio as Programme Director of Lighthouse Radio Ltd., applying for the new South of England Regional Radio Licence. Additionally, I headed the local news team and presented the station Breakfast Show. 1995 Senior Presenter/Journalist - BBC Solent, Southampton Produced and presented the extended Lunchtime and Evening News sequences plus the Late Show phone-in. I was also a regular 'Solent Today' Breakfast Show producer and presenter. 1994 Programme Controller - FOX FM, Oxfordshire I re-structured the news and programming strands and exceeded targets to increase total radio market share, (Oxfordshire), from 22% to 26% in six months. (Source: RAJAR) 1992 Programme Director - Two Counties Radio, Bournemouth I joined as Programme Controller and mid-morning show presenter. In 1993, I joined the board as Programme Director taking the company from Number Three to Number One in the market. (Source: RAJAR) 1988 Founder - Isle of Wight Radio I lobbied for, wrote the application and launched Isle of Wight Radio, described by The Radio Authority as the 'shining example' of its incremental radio stations. (Sony Station of the Year 2007) 1986 Presenter/Producer - Ocean Sound, Portsmouth/Southampton A founder member of the presentation, production and news teams. 1985 Programme Assistant - BBC Radio York Presentation, News and Radio Car reporting, plus highly produced feature packages 1982 Freelance Presenter - Radio Victory Paul Brown, (now Chairman of The Radio Centre), gave me my first radio job. I presented occasional overnight shows during The Falklands Crisis.
